Dr. David E. Cranford, Senior Pastor

Dr. David Cranford was called to FBC Ponchatoula in September 2008. A native Louisianian, Dr. Cranford is a graduate of the University of New Orleans (B.A.) and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary (M.Div., Th.M., D.Min.). He is married to Kathie and they have 3 children: Caroline, John, & Peter. Pastor David is passionate about communicating the Word of God in order to make disciples of Jesus Christ. You will find his preaching to be very Word centered. He leads Reach Missions Partherships and serves in various positions of leadership in the Northshore Baptist Association and the Southern Baptist Convention. In addition, Dr. Cranford currently serves as President of the Louisiana Baptist Convention.

Josh Dickson, Minister of Discipleship

Josh began serving as Minister of Discipleship in 2013. Having a passion for Sunday School, Josh desires to equip the church for the work of ministry. Josh leads our Sunday School and discipleship groups. Additionlly, Josh provides direction and oversight with the total administration, finances, and operations of the church. He holds degrees from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary (B.A.) as well as Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary (M.A.R., M.A.R.E.). Josh and his wife Kristin have 3 children.

Chip Vickers, Minister of Music

Chip has served FBCP since April 2005. He leads the Sanctuary Choir, the Worship Team,and the Orchestra. Chip administrates the Triple S Choir (Senior Adult) and Kool Kidz Praize (Children's Choirs). He is a graduate of The University of Alabama (B.S.) and Florida State University (MME). Chip is married to Paula and they have two children, Whitney and Colton.  He enjoys cycling, grilling out and playing games.

Robert Parkin, Minister to Students

Robert began serving at FBCP in 2014. He has a passion for students and seeing them grow in their walk with Christ. He is responsible for all facets of Student Ministry (7th-12th grade). Robert holds a Master of Divinity in Christian Education with a Concentration in Youth Ministry from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He is also a graduate of Mississippi College with a B.S. in Business Administration and a minor in Christian Ministry Studies. Robert enjoys many outdoor activities including hunting, fishing, golf, and sporting clays. He has been married to his wife Alanna since 2018.
